Dreams & Goals Redefine

This had been on my mind for quite awhile already.  Each time I sat down, I will always have an inner feeling that tell me that I'm not ready to pen this down.  Indeed, I have to agree that this will seriously take me awhile to complete. 

Had a chat with Colin today (16 Jan 12) and his proposition make me think harder and deeper into what I really wants to accomplish these few years on.  Hence, I start to pen down in my iPhone, my thoughts starting 16 Jan 12.  Let see how long it will take me to complete this entry.

His proposition - Good Debts.  Get a loan and fund my trading account with $10K.  Looking at the interest rate, generally it should work out to be about 2% or lower each month.  Trade on what we had learnt, we should be able to do well, just stay discipline and dun ever fight the market.  Get the direction right and follow what the master say.  It's possible to double your account in 2-3 weeks time.  Look good and sound simple enough, for we do really have the master with us. In fact, it's not one but two masters leading and coaching us.

I had been working for Six Capital Pte Ltd for almost 2 years now, and had learnt pretty much about trading as a profession as well as a business.  There is definitely more to be learnt but it is also time to step out and put all the skills together and crystallize them into action plan.  

Dreams & Goals redefined - With FED INVESTMENTS PTE LTD incorporated on 11-11-11, I will need to used this coming months to build up my equity and at the same time continue to constantly perfect my trading skills.  My goals is to stabilize and be able to get constant income of at least $3000 by the end of 2012 Q1.

2012 Q1 target

1. Equity >= $30K

2. Monthly income of $3000

After Q1 target is met, I shall set my next equity target higher and have a higher monthly income.  With the grow in my monthly income, I will need to focus into managing my finances, i.e. reducing my debts.

2012 Q2 target

1.  Equity >= $50K

2.  Monthly income of $5000

3.  Reduce personal debts

4.  Improve / increase my Saving

Realizing my Dream - With all my goals set and put into action, the next step is to start developing my property portfolio and create another line of income through rental. Such portfolio will take many years to build, nevertheless it's better to start late than never.  Here, I will just set a general timeline for myself and be as realistic as possible, kinda act more like a guideline.

1.  First private property - either for rental or for my own can be decided when the time come.  I'm looking at end of 2013.

2.  Second and subsequent property at the end of each year thereafter.  My dream is to have at least 5 private property, one for myself and the rest for rental. 

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012!!!

Happy New Year to all my friends and readers.  Time had really passed by like a flash, looking back, it was just like yesterday when I set some goals for myself in 2011.  Now 2011 is history and it's time to reflect and set some new goals for 2012.

Nothing much had been accomplished in 2011, but definitely it had been a fruitful year in building my foundation and getting my career as a professional trader a good head start.  Towards the last month of 2011, I finally had my first step towards being a professional trader.  FED INVESTMENTS PTE LTD was incorporated on 11 November 2011.  Thank you very much to those who had showed their support and FAITH in me.

In the year 2012, I am going to focus on my company growth and eventually making it become my main income stream, targeting at least $4000 monthly at the second half of the year.  Currently, I still have a monthly paycheck and hence there are tasks that need to be completed.  With my monthly paycheck, I hope my company will be able to provide me with an additional $2000 income monthly.  If everything goes as planned, then I should soon see myself focusing 100% on trading.

Hence, resolution for year 2012:-

1.   Trade daily to acquire confidence and skills competency.

2.   Expanding FED INVESTMENTS PTE LTD.

Christmas 2011 - Movie Marathon

Have the whole day to myself since it's an off day from work, hence decided to have a movie marathon and decided on "We Bought a Zoo", "Petaling Street Warrior" and "Sherlock Holmes" in that sequence.  Planned the timing before heading to NEX, my current favorite cinema by Shaw Organisation, it is also mainly because of the location from my home.

Very good show indeed and definitely worth a second watch for me.  Just the type of movie I like and it's funny too, the whole cinema was laughing out loudly.  Trust me, it's >100% worth the dollars, so catch it ASAP.

I watched this movie mainly because of Mark Lee, kinda supporting his production, but I also not too sure whether this movie is his production haha... Anyway, not really worth the dollars to watch on weekend, pretty crappy and most of the time you also won't understand their joke or 笑点.

Out of the three movies I wanted to watch, I only manage to catch the above two movies, as Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows was full house and I won't wanna waste 2-3 hours waiting just for the next show, and it also occur to me that I can always come back and watch the next day, Christmas Day.  And so I went to my handout, O Bar @ Upper Serangoon Road and spend the rest of my Christmas 2011.

FED INVESTMENTS PTE LTD

Finally incorporated on 11th November 2011 (11-11-11), the trading account had also been created and the first trade was taken on 1st December 2011.  Trading report for the day is shown,

As you can see from the trade details, my income for the day was shown in the Gray highlighted column.  Wasn't my best trading day, as I was having the mix feeling of trading personally and trading professionally.  However, towards the end of the trading session, I manage to pull through with the right mindsets.

Singapore 46th National Day

Happy 46th Birthday Singapore!!!

The National Day Parade had been great, I watched the whole show on TV at home. And decided to pack and re-arranged my room after the show.  Just have the momentum to do that, also dunno why... Kinda xin yue lai chao, haha...

Anyway, been trading for awhile since I last blogged, but seriously speaking I haven't been constantly trading as I had been really busy.  However I had start trading again recently and with new principle I set for myself.  My target is to grow my account 5% every month.

If I am consistent in doing that, most probably I will have the confident to set up my own investment company and find shareholders for fund to trade and make a profit for them.

So far so good, I am doing well, wish me luck and wait for the good news. ;p

Yet another week had past...

Time sure past in a flash when you are busy and have alot to do...

After a busy week, I went to watch KungFu Panda 2 and Pirates of the Caribbean on Stranger Tides.  The shows doesn't come easy actually... I went to Orchard Cineleisure and it was full as well as sold out for the shows that I wanted to watch, so I had to walk to The Cathay and the next timing show was also sold out.  Nevertheless, decided to queue for the next show, which mean I can only catch one show.  Finally during my turn, I was told that there are still scattered seat available so I took it up, anyway I'm alone as usual.  So, it was KungFu Panda 2 first, followed by Pirates of the Caribbean 4...

Enjoyed both shows and took a cab home after midnight...  Had a good sleep and wake up earlier on Sunday to attend Noreen's Wedding at The Capella in Sentosa.  Did not manage to catch Grace in advance and had to make my way to Sentosa, by cab because I was still late ;p

Enjoy the wedding lunch with the company of Grace and Edwin, been a while since I met the two of them.  The lime light of the day, Noreen, I am very happy for her knowing that she had found that Mr Right in her life.  Took a few pictures together and had her solo shot to track how long she will stay that slim... haha... She was slim when I knew her lah actually... just that during the period when we did not really contact she other, her 身材 really 走了样 hehe... and imagine when I met her just few weeks ago, she was still.... and now...

The following week was again hectic and in fact many unpleasant things happened too.  I lost my temper, showed attitude and many many unpleasant things... All because of the stress and the hectic at work plus matters at heart.  I could had handled all those stress well, but judgement was clouded because of matters at heart, as was told to me by my friend, I will not be naming him here so as not to complicate matters, just in case.

I was glad to have him telling me what he had told me and also the extra sharing of my bazhi...  I learned alot about myself as well as what I need to do.  Nevertheless, all those sharing still did not stop me from wondering and thinking in the night.  However, it put it to myself that that was going to be the last night of insomnia or at least late night.  It took me some courage and I wrote an email to the party involved asking for her understanding and forgiveness.  I hope for a reply but till now did not receive any, but it's okay as I felt better and things are also better then last week.

Though I still feel the burning pain in me sometime, I tried not to be bothered by it and also learnt to be slightly opened about it.  In that week, I also took the bold steps towards being smoke free.  Having know that I am not going to succeed by myself, I decided to call QuitLine for help.  I am determined and taking progressive to quit my smoking.  Target had been set and put in place, execution had been enforced as well, now I just need to stick to plan and carry it out religiously to ensure it success.

Of course, I will also need alot of support from friends and love ones.  Most importantly, the best support will be from you.  I dun think she will be so free to drop by here but if she does, please let her know that she will give me the best support not only in quitting smoking but in all things...
