December 2014...

This month had really been a hectic month for me with many ups & downs emotionally and physically...

There had been many long days as well as some late night, providing full day training as well as late night parties... Not that I am not used to the long working hours and late night party, just that it come with some matter of heart that bothers me lots... I had been lucky to have my Shanghai Dealers in Singapore and providing me with many opportunities to just catch up with them and kept my focus elsewhere, but nevertheless, anyone and everyone going through this issue will understand and realise that it still creep back immediately once you are done with the party and get together.

Indeed, I am a victim to this as well... As much as I wanted to move on and forget it this matter, it does constantly come into my mind and haunt me. Again I was lucky to have been able to have true friend like Say Wee and Cyrene who could provide sound advice to help me come into acceptance and move on bravely. One provided company and join me for a few beers while the latter provided me with such true and honest advice that I could move on after having accept the fact.

So now here I am standing strong again, ready to move on into the year 2015 and realigning my focus back to my career and to create wealth as well as find success...

Happy 49th Birthday Singapore!!!

Been quite a long time since I did any post in this blog, haha... been busy lately, but seriously the real reason is just that I had been extremely lazy haha...

How times fly past us, with a blink of an eye, it had been 6 years since I started this blog. Yes, you got it right, I started this blog with the first post on Singapore National Day too...

This year had been a special one as it was my first time away from home during National Day. I am currently in Chandigarh, India conducting briefing and training to the India Colleges to recruit Trainee FX Dealer, as well as setting up our UTC in India. Anyway on Singapore 49th Birthday, I spend my time with my colleagues here in India together with me going up Kasauli Hill and enjoying good Inidan local food. Below are some pictures taken during the day trip...

First destination, or meeting point... The blue dot is where we are...

And a panorama view of the lake...

See that little frog on the extreme left of the picture? That's a dustbin...

After meeting up, we move on to our destination, Kasauli Hill... And our first stop after almost 2 hours car ride...

This is what we had as finger snack before having some maggie noodles... They were fried vegetable, On the left picture you can see that its a fried potato. After the short break, we have another 20 minutes ride to our destination for a proper meal before proceeding further up the hill...

After another 20-30 minutes of bumpy ride, we finally complete our car ride and commence walking to the "peak". We were greeted by Mr. COW along the way.

Along the way up, we we see the above sign to inform us of the altitude we have reached and as well as to remind us to  keep the area clean and do not litter...

The best warning sign have to be this.... haha...

Height and view at the "peak"....

Not to forget the location, with the help of GPS...

More pictures taken along the way up and down...

After the hike, we went to take a look at the market but was already too late, as most stores had already closed. Hence we continued our long ride back home... Which was like almost 3 hours ride back...

FINALLY, NOT TO FORGET... HAPPY 49TH BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!!!

27-29 Dec 2013 Ronghui & Sheany Wedding Celebration

After much co-ordination and even a recce trip a few weeks back, finally the day arrived for all of us to travel up North to celebrate our friend, Ronghui's wedding in Segamat Malaysia. The gang met up at the bus stop outside Asia Pacific Breweries at 9.30pm before proceeding to clear the custom and Tuas Checkpoint.
After meeting up at the bus stop, Car 1 driver, Yingshun with Ruilong & Ronghui's brother, Car 2 driver Junwei and his family (Ginny and little Evan) and Car 3 driver Edwin and his family (Yvonne and Raynie) with me. The custom clearance was done in quick time though there's moderate traffic. We proceed on to our first re-org destination, a petrol station after clearing the toll in Malaysia. After a short toilet break, we proceed on without break to our destination in Segamat. The entire journey took us 3 hours before we finally link up with Ronghui, the host for a light supper before putting up at a holiday house, Homestay.

With each family in one room, Ruilong and I stayed in one room and we had to shift the bed so that I do not have to sleep directly under the aircon blower. After settling now in our home for the next 2 days, we have some locally harvested durian before quickly calling it a night so as to prepare ourselves for the long day.

Woke up very early in the morning, about 7.30am and get ready to proceed for breakfast. Ah Gong Bak Ku Teh was our breakfast before proceeding back to the Homestay and while the little one rest for the luncheon later, the ladies went for some relax time at the saloon.

At the restaurant before the luncheon starts, Mr Ronghui with his mini bow tie, courtesy of Kieran.

The newly-wed couple with the little ones before starting the luncheon.

A five seconds kiss and a song by the couple for all the guests at their lunch reception.

After the luncheon, we proceed back to the homestay before deciding on our next programme. However, as the little ones are tired and would be difficult to bring them out, the parents decided to just stay in the holidays house and enjoy. A food party was just out to get dinner back for all, while the host again proceed to collect the durian ordered. After dinner, the much awaited highlight of the trip was about to start... fireworks...

The young ones experiencing their first with fireworks, smiling faces over all their faces...

And even the adults can't wait to get their hands on the limited supply...

And finally the grand finale to the fireworks playing... 188 shooting fireworks...

The little heavy box that made all this fireworks possible...

After the delightful fireworks, it's bedtime for the little one and before that, it's milk time... And they will always look for their favourite babysitter...

New found friendship between the two young boys, before parting our way... home...
