Yet another piece of good news!

Came home from work in the evening after dinner with CH in Tampines. There were some mails for me and I opened one of them which was a notification of additional bonus to be paid in Oct 08... Yeah!!!

Proven Ways To Make Money On The Internet

Extracted from EmailCashPro Newsletter

Proven Way #1 - The easiest way to make money on the internet
Do you want to know what is the easiest way to make money online? It's to exchange your time for money. In other words, you make money by trading your time.
For example, you can sign up as a freelancer at elance.com and provide freelancing job to people who need your service. You can also sign up with surveying firms to get paid doing market surveys, or become a mystery shopper to help companies to do market research. If you are good in graphic design, you can also start your own online design company to provide graphic design services.
Trading your time for money is the most basic way to make money. It is also the easiest way to start making money. That's why most people start with a 'job' when they are newly out from school. I hope you can see that a job is just another way to trade time for money. There is nothing wrong to trade your time for money. In fact, if you are pressed for cash, providing online services, such as freelance services, is probably the best option to start.

Proven Way #2 - The toughest way to make money on the internet
The second proven way to make money online is to exchange your skills for money.
For example, Adsense and affiliate marketing are proven ways to make money on the internet, but you need the skills of search engine optimization, website building, PPC advertising etc before you can make money from these methods. It is the toughest way to make money because if you do not have the necessary skills, you will have to learn. Learning new skills is 'tough' to most people. If you enjoy learning new skills, I’m happy for you. You will be successful soon.

Proven Way #3 - The smartest way to make money on the internet
The third way and also the smartest way is to exchange your idea for money. The world may be changing everyday, but certain fundamentals will never change. The economy is always looking for means of doing or producing things better, faster, easier and cheaper. If you can come out with an online idea that can do or produce something better, faster, easier and/or cheaper, you will have your fortune at your fingertips.

Now that you've learnt the 3 proven ways to make money on the internet, how about the one and only proven way to LOSE money online?

The Proven Way To Lose Money Online
The proven way to lose money online is to use money to make money. If you believe that you can make $X and all you have to do is invest $Y, then you are destined to be the victim of the next online scam. Without time, skill and/or idea, money is useless. Read again! Don't get me wrong. Having money will definitely help you to make more money online faster, but it is only true if you use it to buy time, skill and/or idea. When you outsource your work to freelancers or professional services, you are buying other people's time and skills. When you buy into other business opportunities, you are buying the idea. Do you see what I mean?

Summing up......

In a nutshell, you can either use time, skill and/or idea to make money online. These are the 3 proven ways to make money on the internet. I personally guarantee that. People who fail to make money online are those who refuse to invest time, refuse to learn the skills and refuse to think.

Mirrors 2008

Kiefer Sutherland plays an ex-cop turned night security guard at a long-closed department store ravaged by fire. He discovers something awry in the store's mirrors, which seem to bring out the worst in people and realises that they harbour a horrific secret that threatens him and his family.

Decided to meet NO for movie, as she will be without mobile phone until saturday due to some sim card problem, she called me when she got home. I returned her call when I reached home and arranged our meeting time for the movie. We were supposed to watch mammia mia! but as I had already watched it, she decided against it. So we ended up watching Mirrors instead of Babylon A.D. just because the Stars rating on Yahoo! for Mirrors was higher. We met in TPY Hub for the McDonald's as dinner before the movie. After the movie, I was rather disappointed with the movie, some how it seemed like a re-make of a decades old movie which I had watched long time ago.

LIVE FOREX trading weekly summary

Negative sign for end of this week trading result. I made some test trade and ended up with a few negative trade, but as can be seen from the table, later part of the week were all positive trade. Recovered half of what I lose in the beginning of the week, this week lesson learnt would be to be patience and ensure that the indicators are right first before put in your order for trade.

TopOne @ Bugis

Finally vacation attachment for the three PO had come to an end. The three of them, though given off by our boss, made the effort to come back to office and met the officers to treat us to lunch. As boss have a meeting in the afternoon, the lunch was held in Jumbo @ NSRCC. Had a fabulous dim sum lunch there before returning back to office.

After work (ended earlier as bosses are not around), GW, CH and me went to Bugis Junction as we will be meeting the trio later in the evening for karaoke. We settled down in TCC and CH was playing with my iPhone while I was observing my trading. GW who had went to withdraw some cash for the evening came back with othello, he bought it so as to kill some time, haha...

After the drinks, we went to shop around searching for CD shops, and I bought my MAMMA MIA! soundtrack (playing now). Shortly after that we met up with MJ and his girlfriend, never really ever catch their partner names, so guess that it! As the other two will be late, we proceed for dinner, CH and me was still having the lunch in us so decided to skip dinner. We went across to Hong Kong Cafe @ Liang Seah Street for their dinner before proceeding to our main course for the evening, TopOne KTV. EA joined us while we were still in the cafe for their dinner. JQ as usual was going to be late again. ;p

After ordering our drinks, 6 glasses of fruit juices, it took awhile before the waiter return with our order. You must be wondering why I am bothered to even write this details down. Well, thats because party starts only after the waiter had left the room. CH had brought along with him a bottle of Martell (in his is bag of course). EA's girlfriend was nominated to be the one buying the mixers. When she arrive, she was carrying this 7-eleven plastic bag with her stuff in it. And the mixer were in her bag haha...

======================================================

On a different note, I realised that I was removed as "friend" from someone FB account. I sent a message checking whether it was accidental. Since there was no response, I take it that it was done deliberately. Seriously dun understand why in this world, there are such unfeeling people.

So it was really because of monetary gain, that had caused things to happen and develop previously. I really hate to say it this way or accept it, but I really dunno how to explain and rationalise anymore. I provide, protect and defense for YOU all the time (have you forgottent all this?) but at the end... What do I gain? NOTHING!!! Not only am I single, alone and hurt now there was no friendship either. I felt loneliness surrounding me constantly, I wanna get out and I know I will. Time will show the path.

Still I can't help it but felt hurt, why did things develop till this stage? Haven't I allow and ensure that whatever you want and wished for are in accordance to what you want? I stop contacting you, stop SMSing you, stop calling you, stop MSNing you, avoid seeing you... (tears are rolling down my cheek while writing these, YOU know how much it hurt dun YOU?) Can any gals out there tag me and tell me am I not doing enough to stay clear? All I ask for was to remain as friend in an anonymous way, at least to me, I know how you are getting along and that all I asked for, was that too much to ask for?

Things are not always what they seem

Received this email last week, meaningful, so share with all readers here...

Two travelling angels stopped to spend the night in the home of a wealthy family. The family was rude and refused to let the angels stay in the mansion's guest room. Instead the angels were given a small space in the cold basement. As they made their bed on the hard floor, the older angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it. When the younger angel asked why, the older angel replied,
"Things aren't always what they seem."

The next night the pair came to rest at the house of a very poor, but very hospitable farmer and his wife. After sharing what little food they had, the couple let the angels sleep in their bed where they could have a good night's rest. When the sun came up the next morning the angels found the farmer and his wife in tears. Their only cow, whose milk had been their sole income, lay dead in the field. The younger angel was infuriated and asked the older angel how could you have let this happen? The first man had everything, yet you helped him, she accused. The second family had little but was willing to share everything, and you let the cow die.

"Things aren't always what they seem," the older angel replied. "When we stayed in the basement of the mansion, I noticed there was gold stored in that hole in the wall. Since the owner was obsessed with greed and unwilling to share his good fortune, I sealed the wall so he wouldn't find it."

"Then last night as we slept in the farmers bed, the angel of death came for his wife. I gave him the cow instead. Things aren't always what they seem."

Sometimes that is exactly what happens when things don't turn out the way they should. If you have faith, you just need to trust that every outcome is always to your advantage. You might not know it until some time later...

Meaningful isn't it? It is definitely of some sense and logic to me, especially of what I had went through recently...

ThaiPan Restaurant, CSC @ Changi

Went to office today and received an email notifying the release of my bonuses, hooray! Finally, it's coming into my pocket... Not to be too happy yet, I have so many to pay and clear... so may end up with nothing again... :(

Still it's alright, I'm making good progress on my FOREX trading... shall not talk about this topic now since I have a weekly update of my trading. After work, RK, CH, AL and me went to this restaurant in Changi Village. It was opened and operated by RK friend. RK was telling us what a gambler his friend was, yet still able to open this restaurant, oh the restaurant name was ThaiPan. It was located in Civil Service Club @ Changi.

Taken with my iPhone, no flash light so not able to see the signboard of the restaurant. Anyway, they served great food, especially their $1.00 olive fried rice. Four of us shared two soups (Double Boiled Lotus soup and Tom Yam soup), five dishes (Herbal Frog legs, Butter squids, French bean with dried shrimps, Black pepper pork chop and tofu) and three plates of Olive fried rice. Guess what? We were not able to finish all of them, not because it's not nice but because it was too filling for all of us...

After dinner, we stayed on and chat about work as well as our personal life... FL joined us after his dinner at home with his family. Well, we were all there for AL actually as he will be leaving for ShenZhen, China on wednesday for holidays. So its kinda a celebration and catch up for all of us. Celebration, having successfully completed our siong exercise and the series of night watches. Great company indeed!

Mamma mia!

Went to watch Mamma Mia! after my visit to Singapore Expo. Managed to catch the next available showtime at 1620H.

Meryl Streep leads an all-star cast as an independent, single mother who owns a small hotel on an idyllic Greek island. Donna (Streep) is about to let go of Sophie (Amanda Seyfried), the daughter she's raised alone. On a quest to find her father to walk her down the aisle, Sophie brings back three men from Donna's past to the Mediterranean paradise they visited 20 years earlier. Based on the smash hit musical seen by over 30 million people worldwide with a gross to date of US$2 billion. It is set to songs by popular '70s group ABBA.

It's was a very interesting and meaningful muscial if you asked me. I enjoyed the show from the start to the end. I like the song and music too, going to get the soundtracks at my next available opportunity... ;p

Super Import Nights (SiN) 2008

Woke up early this Sunday morning so that I can catch the last day of the Super Import Nights (SiN) at Singapore Expo. Again, armed with my Canon IXUS65 I made my way there. Reached there about 1300H and realised that the drift demo was about to start, so I got a good spot for the demo.

It wasn't as crowded as expected, most probably because it's already the last day. Cars and babes, too many of them, took quite a numbers of photos with my supposedly trustworthy IXUS65, but who knows half way through battery flat totally... So limited pictures taken only... what a waste...

More photos can be viewed in my Facebook account.

吳宗憲 - 是不是這樣的夜晚你才會這樣的想起我

Was watching channel U on TV and came across this chinese song, one with a very long title, 是不是這樣的夜晚你才會這樣的想起我. Its a great song and in fact with all the questions I received earlier from FC and at a later time LT, I simply find this song extremely meaning full.

Farewell Dinner for office attached officers

After another tiring week of night watches, the entire office met for a farewell dinner organised just for JQ, MJ and EA.  They were attached to our office for their vacation attachment, really lucky for them to have landed in our office, haha...  but I'm sure they had their fair share of fun, afterall, I had said this before and will say it again... we are a bunch of very easy to get along with people.  Only two persons in the entire office feels otherwise.

We went to Pow Sing restaurant in Serangoon Garden, had chicken rice, curry fish head and many other side dishes...  Look at the battle damage...

And as all other office dinner for such occasion, the event will not end without giving the leaving personnel a plaque and momento to shows our appreciation.

A BIG THANK YOU TO YOU GUYS, Edsel, Jennie and Mingjie, you guys had really been a BIG helping hands to us (me included) during your short stay.  Hope you guys had enjoyed yourself.

After the "not so good" dinner, the young and the old split... haha... The young went to have some drinks before ending the night.  As for the old??? Well as usual, they just disappear into the night and appear only in their very own shelter (home)... ;p

Having slept the entire day since we had been on night watches, CH and me decided to play mahjong with SF and HA.  Ended up playing the whole night until 8am in the morning at SF place and what else could be worst? I lost... :(

LIVE FOREX Trading - 2nd week result

Finally, I am making some head way...

Hope this will continue for the many weeks and months and years to come...  Towards my financial independent and freedom... ;p

Those were the time...

Received an email from SY titled "Those were the time".  Indeed it was, the pictures attached with the email were of the olden Singapore as well as things we as kids then used to have...  I have selected few of them and attached here...

Anyone can recognise where the terminal show in the picture (first picture) was?  It sure look like Pasir Ris Interchange to me.  These were the olden type of SBS buses... and look at those tickets... Am I not glad that I actually used these tickets before?  Haha... well that only shows how old I am...

The sega game console, I used to have this when I was a kid.  Had quite some numbers of games too and the game cards dun quite remember how it was played already haha...
Anyone remember these handheld game console?  It was quite popular during my time haha...

The extreme left picture show the drinks packaging we used to have.  The center picture is what Singapore used to have, chewing gum and of course the all time favourite satay stick.

Pictures from last year (2007) Tioman Dive Trip

Watched TV until 6am this morning, only managed to wake up at 1700H instead of the planned 1200H haha... I really can sleep. Woke up and felt that I had wasted my weekend, shitty feeling really. Hence have to make full use of my time left. But seriously whats there to do? Had my lunch cum dinner and surfed the net. Downloaded some old photographs, it was on my dive trip on 6-8 Jul 07. I uploaded them into my Facebook account, for all my friends to see. And here's some of the photographs for readers to enjoy...

Dive group comprises of YS and wife and her brother, FO (YS sister), RH and JH, YS friend and two Korean.

YS wife was expecting when she went for this dive trip, but of course she wasn't aware that she was expecting then. See my previous entry and you will know the baby that went diving well before she was born... ;p
