twcsg & Sembawang RC charity car wash on 31 May 09

Early in the morning of 31 May 09, I took a ride with Terence "eroken" to Republic Polytechnic's TRCC car park for the long awaited charity event jointly organised by twcsg and Sembawang RC. This time round we will be raising fund for Sembawang needy family taken care of by Sembawang CDWF through washing cars.

Once we reach the car park, we get the wash station and dry cleaning station all ready for the first customer by 9am. The first car arrived slightly before 9am and that kick start the entire charity car wash event.

After the first car, the traffic was slow and we had plenty of time to chat and have fun. We even have Red Bull babes to support us at the event, giving out Red Bull to members helping out as well as car owners who came to have their car washed. Time seemed to pass fast and without knowing, it was lunchtime! We had to rotate to have our lunch as cars were seen coming in slowly now, but there were still gap in between.

It was only after lunch that the number of cars start to increase with shorter interval in between each car wash.  Once the Rseries convoy came into the car, about 40 of them followed by convoy from Toyota Celica, the entire car park was full and we had to wash the cars under the hot sun non-stop.

After the long day, everyone were worn out but still carried that smile on their face for having put in the effort for charity. 

At the end of the day, all the wishes line up and had a photoshoot to call it a day.
