My First FOREX LIVE Trade...
Sharing with you the 7 habits of successful traders
1. Master your own psychology and the psychology of the market.
2. To be a successful trader, you don't have to be right all the time.
3. Trade only when ALL the criteria are met & DON'T hesitate when it is.
4. Always put a stop-loss.
5. When the trade hit stop-loss. Accept you are wrong and move on.
6. Never hope, pray or wish market goes your way. Trade on a system, never on prediction.
7. You should DEMO Trade for at least 3-6 months before you even think about trading LIVE.
Trading FOREX is really not as simple as we think it is. However, I believe as long as we continue with a right mindset, we will trade better... A screenshot of my account history...
First trade was a loss, followed by a gain but when I tried the FOREX 104 method, I lost again... Way to go!!!

Planning for my future (2008)
I had been trading FOREX virtually since Mar 08, and I had recently opened a LIVE account with interbankFX. I will post my entries on the result of my trading in future, so stay tuned and if you get interested just get in contact with me and I will help you along. ;p
Transition into second career is never easy, for instance having to leave a place with so many friends and collegues to start working in another environment full of strangers (well, they will become friends and collegues eventually) is already enough to stop many from stepping out. I had been pondering this decision over and over again for quite sometimes now, maybe for years. Finally a decision had been made, thanks to the circumstances and the recent people I had been working with. You make my decision making so much easier. So the planning started some months back in search of my second career. Opportunities came for my considerations, interestingly opportunities really just pass you by when you open up your mind and eyes. Took my times to consider the many available options and finally made my decision... I shall not reveal those decision points that I made. Will reveal them when I finally got into it, just in case any contingencies appears.
I also intend to further my studies, one way or another it's really because of her words and encouragement. I really do not know what installed for me in the future, but I do know that if I put in effort, one day it would be paid off. So back to my plans to further my studies, seriously I wasn't sure which field or faculty to go into. Thanks to SF for sharing, I was able to made up my mind. Search a few school in Singapore that provides BSc in Banking and Finance, there were a few, but decided that PSB Academy would be the one.
I was not able to start the course immediately as the course start in Aug yearly. Missed it! BUT looking at it from another angle, everything seem to falls into place nicely now...
1. Career changes (expecting beginning of 2009)
2. Stability in new career (about six months)
3. Start my BSc in Banking and Finance
Not forgetting, I am shifting to a new environment in late Sep 08. New Place, New Life!
P.S. When I graduate (if I ever do), YOU will be invited to the graduation ceremony, even if I have to fly you over, I will!
United 93 (The Movie)

Movie Overview
Acclaimed filmmaker Paul Greengrass (Bloody Sunday, The Bourne Supremacy) writes and directs an unflinching drama that tells the story of the passengers and crew, their families on the ground and the flight controllers who watched in dawning horror as United Airlines Flight 93 became the fourth hijacked plane on the day of the worst terrorist attacks on American soil: September 11, 2001.
United 93 recreates the doomed trip in actual time, from takeoff to hijacking to the realization by those onboard that their plane was part of a coordinated attack unfolding on the ground beneath them. The film attempts to understand the abject fear and courageous decisions of those who - over the course of just 90 minutes - transformed from a random assembly of disconnected strangers into bonded allies who confronted an unthinkable situation.
Greengrass, known for films such as Resurrected and Bloody Sunday, brings to United 93 a history of compassionate filmmaking that has explored some of the most troubled incidents of recent world history - when politics turns to violence, when beliefs slip into zealotry. As there is no perfect record of the hijacking's exact details and hostage retaliation, Greengrass takes a careful hand and partially improvises the events with an ensemble cast of little-known actors who were given studies of their UAL Flight 93 counterparts.
United 93 intends to dignify the memory of those on that flight, the men and women whose sacrifice remains one of the most heroic legacies of the incomprehensible tragedies that unfolded on that autumn morning.
It's really a very nice movie, kept me excited throughout the entire movie from start to end. Minute of silence for the passengers onboard please...

Yet another boring weekends...
After the show, I SMS CC, Big ST and Small ST for mahjong session, but they were not able to make it. Hence, decided to watch Wall E at Tampines Mall alone. Well I really like watching movies... Checked the timing on the net and got on my way to Tampines Mall. On the way there, I received a call with regards to a promise I had made previously. Of course I am still standing by what I had say, but being on the bus and going to spend the weekend alone, I sounded rather bored and that resulted in some sort of a misunderstanding.
So gentlemen, please use all your patience to avoid this, as it spoil my mood entirely and instead of proceeding as planned to watch Wall E, I met up with LT & DT for dinner. Fortunately for me, I have friends like them, as long as they are free and available, they would spare that little time for me. While waiting for them, I cooled down a little and subsequently just forget about the whole incident. LT & DT, I own you one... ;p After the makan, they send me back home and I watch DVD again! Haha... A Steven Spielberg film this time, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Screenshots from the movie...

Before the movie ends, SC called and asked whether I would like to have supper with her, but since I'm at home she decided to proceed home instead.
Saturday - I was at AMK Hub for my movies marathon, watched Death Race and Wall E. Both were great movies, catch them if you have not.
Death Race - The movie plot "Jason Statham takes the role of Jensen Ames in the remake of the Roger Classman classic "Death Race". Overcrowding in the U.S. penal system has reached a breaking point and prisons have been turned over to monolithic Weyland Corporation, which sees prisoners as an opportunity for a televised sport called "Death Race", the world's biggest and most brutal sporting event. Five-time NASCAR champion Jensen Ames is a man who has become an expert at survival. When Weyland demands a driver to headline the big game, Ames is forced to submit. Donning the costume of mythical rider Frankenstein, the racer becomes an instant crowd favorite. Hidden by a metallic black mask, one convict will be put through a brutal three day challenge, with the trophy being the ultimate prize: freedom. Ames' expertise will now be put to the test. It's either to kill or be killed."
Wall.E - Guess I don't have to say much about this movie, but since it's just cut and paste... What if mankind had to leave Earth and somebody forgot to turn the last robot off? WALL-E, a robot, spends every day doing what he was made for. But soon, he will discover what he was meant for. From Academy Award-winning writer-director, Andrew Stanton ("Finding Nemo"), Disney-Pixar's "WALL-E" is the story of one robot's comic adventures as he chases his dream across the galaxy. After the movies, I had my dinner at AMK and proceed to CC's place for mahjong. She had asked for the mahjong session when I was watching Wall.E. Shouldn't had played seriously, lost $130. Guess it's time to replenish my luck at the table, or maybe it's time to go Loyang Tua Pek Gong Temple. Nevertheless, finish the game at around 2am in the morning and took a ride from Big ST. Retired for the night and got ready for my duty on Sunday morning.
Sunday - It's duty again, made full use of the time at office and did some work. SMSed MB for a ride home later in the evening. He came and send me home in my very own Toyota Wish before going back to the library to fetch his family. Been awhile since I see my wishy, miss her so much.
MB had taken great care of her for me, Thank you so much MB. Wishy, I will be claiming you back in no time...

Discover the 90/10 Principle
Discover the 90/10 Principle.
It will change your life (at least the way you react to situations). What is this principle? 10% of life is made up of what happens to you. 90% of life is decided by how you react. What does this mean? We really have no control over 10% of what happens to us. We cannot stop the car from breaking down. The plane will be late arriving, which throws our whole schedule off. A driver may cut us off in traffic. We have no control over this 10%. The other 90% is different. You determine the other 90%. How? ……….By your reaction.
You cannot control a red light. but you can control your reaction. Don't let people fool you; YOU can control how you react.
Let's use an example.
You are eating breakfast with your family. Your daughter knocks over a cup of coffee onto your business shirt. You have no control over what just happened. What happens next will be determined by how you react.
You curse.
You harshly scold your daughter for knocking the cup over. She breaks down in tears. After scolding her, you turn to your spouse and criticize her for placing the cup too close to the edge of the table. A short verbal battle follows. You storm upstairs and change your shirt. Back downstairs, you find your daughter has been too busy crying to finish breakfast and get ready for school. She misses the bus. Your spouse must leave immediately for work. You rush to the car and drive your daughter to school.
Because you are late, you drive 40 miles an hour in a 30 mph speed limit. After a 15-minute delay and throwing $60 traffic fine away, you arrive at school. Your daughter runs into the building without saying goodbye. After arriving at the office 20 minutes late, you find you forgot your briefcase. Your day has started terrible. As it continues, it seems to get worse and worse. You look forward to coming home. When you arrive home, you find small wedge in your relationship with your spouse and daughter.
Why? …. Because of how you reacted in the morning.
Why did you have a bad day?
A) Did the coffee cause it?
B) Did your daughter cause it?
C) Did the policeman cause it?
D) Did you cause it?
The answer is "D".
You had no control over what happened with the coffee. How you reacted in those 5 seconds is what caused your bad day.
Here is what could have and should have happened.
Coffee splashes over you. Your daughter is about to cry. You gently say, "Its ok honey, you just need to be more careful next time". Grabbing a towel you rush upstairs. After grabbing a new shirt and your briefcase, you come back down in time to look through the window and see your child getting on the bus. She turns and waves. You arrive 5 minutes early and cheerfully greet the staff. Your boss comments on how good the day you are having.
Notice the difference?
Two different scenarios. Both started the same. Both ended different.
Why?
Because of how you REACTED. You really do not have any control over 10% of what happens. The other 90% was determined by your reaction.
Here are some ways to apply the 90/10 principle. If someone says something negative about you, don't be a sponge. Let the attack roll off like water on glass. You don't have to let the negative comment affect you!
React properly and it will not ruin your day. A wrong reaction could result in losing a friend, being fired, getting stressed out etc.
How do you react if someone cuts you off in traffic? Do you lose your temper? Pound on the steering wheel? A friend of mine had the steering wheel fall off) Do you curse? Does your blood pressure skyrocket? Do you try and bump them? WHO CARES if you arrive ten seconds later at work? Why let the cars ruin your drive?
Remember the 90/10 principle, and do not worry about it.
You are told you lost your job. Why lose sleep and get irritated? It will work out. Use your worrying energy and time into finding another job.
The plane is late; it is going to mangle your schedule for the day. Why take outpour frustration on the flight attendant? She has no control over what is going on.
Use your time to study, get to know the other passenger. Why get stressed out? It will just make things worse.
Now you know the 90-10 principle. Apply it and you will be amazed at the
results. You will lose nothing if you try it. The 90-10 principle is incredible.
Very few know and apply this principle.
The result?
Millions of people are suffering from undeserved stress, trials, problems and heartache. We all must understand and apply the 90/10 principle.
It CAN change your life!!!
Enjoy….
So friends and readers, remember this Principle and apply it in your life. I am going to learn and apply this Priniciple in my LIFE!!! ;p
